Obituary:  Ronnie Franklin Raby

 Ronnie Franklin Raby, 65 of Harned, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Ronnie was born August 15, 1960, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, the son of Genoa and Sudie Raby. Ronnie worked all his life on farms or doing carpentry work in Harrisburg and the surrounding areas. He also served in the Harrisburg National Guard. He was a Christian and of the Baptist belief. Ronnie loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He also enjoyed getting together with family and friends, where he often entertained us with his many sayings like: ‶He sounds like he needs a kind word and a cool glass of water″! He also entertained by his special dance he called, ‶The LANG~GEE Lockdown″ or just singing in a way that had us all rolling with laughter! He had a one-of-a-kind personality and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Raby and Ricky Conrad, and one sister, Sandra Raby.

He is survived by one son, Daniel Raby of Kentucky, one grandson, Cayden Raby also of Kentucky, brothers: Robert (Kay) Raby of West Memphis, Kenny (Debbie) Raby of Trumann, Bobby (Laura) Raby of Kentucky, Sisters: Shirley (Fred) Peifer of Memphis, Barbara (Clifford) Spradling of Harrisburg, Linda Moore of Mountain Home, Mary (Glen) Costner of Harrisburg, Pat Raby of Jonesboro, Peggy Hively of Calico Rock, Paulette Schmidt of Oklahoma, Martha (Tim) Easter of Harrisburg, and Candy (Randall) Godwin of Mountain View, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Friday ~ January 16, 2026, at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. with Bro. Jim Duffel conducting the service. Interment will be in Bolivar Cemetery. These men will serve as Active pallbearers: Cayden Raby, Sam Schwartz, Aaron Easter, Austyn Easter, Jadyn Easter, Gus Easter, and Shawn Bell. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
