Barry Samuel McBride, age 57, of Salado, passed from this life on January 15, 2026. Born in Paragould on February 19, 1968, Barry was the cherished son of Samuel Oscar and Nola Carnell (Pate) McBride. Barry made a career as a parts service manager for Ford and Crow Burlingame, where he served customers and colleagues with integrity and shared his sense of humor.  Barry was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand or a listening ear, and for the love and pride he held in his heart for his family and many friends.

Barry’s love for hunting was a constant throughout his life.  To Barry, the woods were not only a place for hunting but a place of cherished memories with loved ones, many of which were made with his children and grandchildren at a family hunting cabin in Rosie, as well as his hunting club with his father-in-law, Archie.  In his youth, Barry also enjoyed playing softball and basketball, while making lifelong friendships along the way.  Barry was a devoted member of the Army National Guard and gained the friendship and respect of his fellow guardsmen.

He was a loyal friend and made it a point to check in with those that he cared for, never failing to serve his friends in any way that was needed.  Above all, Barry’s heart belonged to his family.  He cherished and never took for granted the moments that he spent with family, whether it was quiet evenings at home, large gatherings for the holidays, or love and laughter shared at the dinner table together with his family.  Barry was a devoted husband, father, and PawPaw.  Barry’s grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he spoke of them with great fondness and pride.

He was preceded in death by his father, his sister, Karen Watson; his mother-in-law, Deborah Davis; and his beloved son, Caleb McBride.  He is survived by his wife, Cynthia McBride; mother, Nola McBride of Salado; his daughter, Micaila Brooke McBride of Vilonia; his son, Colbe Samuel McBride (Maggie) of Bradford; his brothers, Tommy McBride (Bobbi) and Jeffery McBride of Salado; his grandchildren, Connor Samuel McBride of Searcy, Beau Samuel McBride and Whitley Mae McBride of Bradford; his father-in-law, Archie Davis of Newport; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Mitchell (Danny) of Pangburn and Crystal McCullar (Stephen) of Newport; and the mother of his children, Michelle McBride of Bald Knob; along with a lifetime of family and friends.

Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on January 20, 2026, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026.
