Rodney Crite, age 60, of Luxora, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born June 7, 1965, to Will and Geneva (Ford) Crite in Newport, Arkansas. Rodney was known throughout his community for his dedication to hard work and his caring spirit. Over the years, he built a respected career in landscaping, car detailing, and roofing, earning the trust and gratitude of many neighbors and friends.

Above all, Rodney was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend to many. His warmth, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He brought joy and comfort to family gatherings, offered support and encouragement to his loved ones, and was always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Rodney’s devotion and loyalty as a family member and friend will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Rodney was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva (Ford) Crite, whose love and guidance shaped his life. He is survived by his father, Will Crite of Newport; his sons, Rodney Crite Jr., of Jonesboro, and Andre Crite of Jonesboro; his daughter, Audrey Amuzu (Philbert); his brothers, Chris Crite (Whilona) of Olive Branch, MS and Will Crite Jr. of Amarillo, TX; his sister, Lawana Bell (Willie) of Blytheville, AR; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah Amuzu, Alah Crite, Zalena Crite, and Miley Crite. Rodney’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his cherished family and many friends, who will treasure his memory always.

Service will be at 10:00 a.m. January 31, 2026, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ira Crite officiating. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
