Buford Dennis Riley, age 77, of Cushman, Arkansas, passed away on January 20, 2026.
Dennis was born on March 16, 1948, in Bethesda, Arkansas, where he was also raised, to the late Buford Riley and Margie (Dowell) Riley. He later made his home in Cushman, Arkansas.
Dennis was a man of many talents and passions. He was a skilled knife maker and welder, and he loved spending time hunting and fishing. In his quieter moments, he could often be found enjoying his favorite television show, Gunsmoke. Those who knew Dennis will remember his craftsmanship, his love for the outdoors, and his strong, hardworking spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Riley and Margie (Dowell) Riley; his beloved wife, Evelyn Riley; his brother, Gary Riley; and his son, Chance Riley.
Left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Philip Riley, David Riley, and Carter Riley; his daughter, Alexis Riley; his special granddaughter, Lelanah Harper; and his sister, Janice (Charles) Inloes, along with many other family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
An immediate burial will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery on Wednesday, January 28, at 2:00 p.m. A special prayer will be led by Pastor Carl Blankenship.
Pallbearers will be David Riley, Carter Riley, Mitchell Courtney, Keith McPherson, Ben Birkhead, and Hank Rounds.
Dennis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
