Cave City Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Brandi Schulz
In a town of fewer than 2,000 residents, the Cave City Area Chamber of Commerce is building momentum through a growing slate of community events and business-focused programming. White River Now’s Chad Whiteaker recently spoke with executive director Brandi Schulz about the chamber’s rapid growth and plans for 2026. (Scroll down to listen to the full interview.)
In less than a year, the chamber has grown to more than 100 members, a surge Schulz attributes to renewed community pride and a focus on revitalizing downtown following Cave City’s recovery from a 2024 tornado.
Schulz says the chamber serves as a connector between local businesses and the public, while also partnering with neighboring chambers to support regional economic health. Membership is open to businesses across the region, especially those with ties to Cave City.
A centerpiece of the year will be the chamber’s inaugural annual meeting and awards luncheon on Feb. 28 at Cave City Elementary School, themed “Old School & Forever Cool.” The event will recognize outstanding local businesses and community leaders. (Click here for more info.)
The chamber’s 2026 calendar also includes monthly Chamber Chats at Drifters Coffee, downtown events such as Movies in the Park, the Pickin’ and Grinnin’ music series, Founders Day, expanded promotion of the Watermelon Festival, and the annual Pink Friday shopping event.
