Darrell Norman, age 70, of Fifty Six, Arkansas, passed away on February 5, 2026, in Fifty Six, Arkansas.
Darrell was born on January 1, 1956, to Hugh and Martha P. Norman. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was of the Baptist faith.
Darrell enjoyed horseshoes and was especially proud of being a State Champion with the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHPA) in 2005. Throughout his life, he worked as a security officer in both Wichita, Kansas, and Arkansas, and spent many years working in drywall. He was known as a hardworking man who took pride in providing for his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa (Jamie) Ragland of Leslie, Arkansas, and Felicia Norman of Big Flat, Arkansas; his grandsons, James Horton, Nathan Horton, Mason Garcia, and Noah Bynum; his great-granddaughter, Wynlee Horton; his sister, Myra (Greg) Dick of Wichita, Kansas; his brother, Gary Norman of Fifty Six, Arkansas; his brothers-in-law, Tony Edington of Batesville and Jerry Younger of Cabot; and numerous nieces and nephews, including nephews Ace and Jason, and nieces Crystal, Tosha, Lindsey, Vallaree, Debra, and Deanna.
Darrell is preceded in death by his grandson, Adrian Garcia; his parents, Hugh and Martha Norman; his two sisters, Paula Edington and Sharon Younger; and his wife, Pamela Norman.
Darrell will be remembered with love for his service to his country, his strong work ethic, and his devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Norman, Tony Edington, Jerry Younger, Ace Norman, Greg Dick, Jason Edington, James Horton, Nathan Horton, Mason Garcia, Noah Bynum, James Baze, and Jamie Ragland.
A Memorial Service will be held at Fifty Six Missionary Baptist Church on HWY 14 in Fifty Six, Arkansas on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Brother Duane Ragland will be officiating the services.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home of Mountain View will be in charge of these arrangements.
