Lila Bell Sutterfield, 92, of Fox, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, at the Blossoms Nursing Home in Mountain View. She was born on June 22, 1933, in Turkey Creek, Arkansas, to Logan and Goldie (McMullin) Berry.
Lila was a Christian of the Pentecostal faith and attended Fox Assembly of God Church for many years. She will be remembered as a faithful servant of the Lord throughout her life, as well as a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. More than anything, Lila loved spending time with her family, cooking, and sewing. Nothing brought her greater joy than holding a baby. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Logan and Goldie Berry; her husband, Orbin Calvin Sutterfield; her daughter, Viola Bell Dearien; her five brothers, Aubrey, Silas, Albert, Thomas, and Jimmy; and her six sisters, Francis, Oval, Edith, Evelyn, Wilma, and Marie.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children: Marvin (Thressa) Sutterfield of Fox, Gerald (Terri) Sutterfield of Fox, Dennis (Debra) Sutterfield of Fox, and Sandra (Teddy) Morris of Turkey Creek. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Fox Cemetery, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Brother Stan Sutterfield will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be Cohen Hunt, Keaton Sutterfield, Caleb Callahan, Casen Stevens, Luke Morris, Brooks Hipp, Braison Morris, and Jacob Morris.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Service.
