Michael Edward Foster, 73, of Batesville, Arkansas, passed away on March 3, 2026.
Mike was born on December 7, 1952, in Batesville, Arkansas, to Dorla (Finley) Foster and the late Ed Bryan Foster. A lifelong resident of Batesville, Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
A faithful Baptist, Mike was a dedicated member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church. He was a gifted pianist and organist, known by many as one of the finest piano players on this side of Arkansas. Music was not just something he did — it was a part of who he was. Whether playing at church or at home, he found great joy in sharing his talent with others.
Mike deeply loved his family. He cherished time spent gardening with his beloved wife, Lisa, tending to their farm animals, and enjoying classic Western shows and movies. He loved his parents, his children, and took special pride in his grandchildren — loving each of them endlessly, especially his precious granddaughter, Finley Clements. His loving heart and distinct sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Bryan Foster; and his grandparents, Virgil and Dot Foster, and Nelious and Mildred Finley.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Lisa (Owen) Foster; his mother, Dorla (Finley) Foster; his sons, Michael Foster, Brandon Foster, Joshua Dease, and Jake (Jamie) Dease; his daughters, Amanda (Will) Clements, and Autumn Dease; and his cherished grandchildren, Finley Clements, Mando, Marcos, Jolene, and Nayely.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Willis Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Jones officiating.
