Raydean Lewis, 82, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 18, 1944, in Washington Township, North Carolina, to Robert M. Brown and Edna Opal (Burns) Brown.
Raydean was a Christian of the Pentecostal faith and was a faithful member of The Sanctuary UPC of Mountain View. More than anything, Raydean devoted her life to serving God and being there for her family. She enjoyed going to church, yard-saling, digging for roots, doing puzzles, and spending time with her loved ones. She also loved sitting around visiting and sharing stories. Raydean was a good woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Edna Brown; her three children, Nancy Lewis-Cooper, Jamie Lewis-Brewer, and Ivan Gene Lewis; her granddaughter, Samantha Wallis; and her siblings, Jim Brown, Pauline (Brown) Nesbitt, Bill Brown, Buefard Brown, and Betty (Brown) Lawrence.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of sixty-one years, Leonard Lewis; her daughter, Karen (Donald) Wallis; her four grandchildren, Amanda Cooper, Robert (Kim) Gilbert, Donovan (Kylee) Cooper, and Rebeka Wallis; and her ten great-grandchildren, Richard, Matthew, Bradley, Hayden, Drayton, Ryan, Andrea, Summer, Paisley, and Adley. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m., with Brother Paul Mize and Brother Daniel Stephens officiating. Interment will take place at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View.
Pallbearers are Robert Gilbert, Garrett Stephens, Danny Lawrence, Amanda Blackford, Sammy Mize, and Larry Sutton.
Honorary pallbearers are Ryan Tinkle and Paul Johnson.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Service.
