Gary Lee Dayberry, age 73, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away at his home on March 10, 2026. Gary was born in St. James, Arkansas, to Emmitt and Elsie Dayberry.

When Gary was not working, you could find him down by the river playing horseshoes with family and friends. As he got older, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and keeping close company with his faithful dog, Haze.

He is also survived by his grandchildren: Hali Massey, Kelsea Calais, Riley Dayberry, Trevor Mapps, Lauren Williams, Lani Dayberry, and Braelynn and Taelynn Trammell. He leaves behind his siblings Glen Dayberry, Ruby Wilson, and Brenda Hill, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Elsie Dayberry; his son, Gary Don Dayberry; and his siblings Cecil Dayberry, James Dayberry, MaryAnn Watters, Donnie Dayberry, Cathy Canard, Jim Wayne Dayberry, and Dale Dayberry.
