Bonnie Kay (Conner) Belless departed this life on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born on October 30, 1942, in Canton, Illinois, the daughter of Gordon and Margaret (Hardesty) Conner.
Bonnie married the love of her life, Junior Belless, in March 1959. Bonnie worked as a food service manager, working for several hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. Bonnie raised miniature and Shetland horses. Bonnie enjoyed traveling on vacations, her favorite spots being Hawaii, New Orleans, and Branson. Her hobbies included raising flowers and cooking for her family get-togethers. She was of the Christian belief.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Belless; one son-in-law, James MacLaren; and her parents.
Mrs. Belless is survived by one son, Gordon Belless and wife, Christine, of Lewistown, Illinois; two daughters, Sherry MacLaren of Clinton, and Tammy Belless of Evening Shade; three grandchildren, Jared Belless and wife, Melissa, of Cabot, Dominque Eddins and husband, Dustin, of Little Rock, and Natasha Evans and husband, Justyn, of Yorktown, Viriginia; three great grandchildren, Rowan, Aaron, Riley, and one on the way, Aiden; special friends, Gary and Shawna Oltjenburns; other family members and a lifetime of friends.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
A family service will be announced at a later date.
