Maxine R. Finley Carnett, 87, of Batesville, departed this life on Sunday, March 15, 2026. She was born in Sage, Arkansas, on July 4, 1938, to Avord and Estelle Finley.
Maxine owned Finley Grocery located in Batesville for several years. She was best known as a homemaker and was loved for being the best mother. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and sewing. She was especially good at keeping a spotless house.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Stanley Campbell, of Batesville; two grandsons, Michael Campbell and Jeremy Autry; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and friends.
Maxine is preceded in death by her parents; her daughters, Rita Autry and Vickie Knox; her sister, Ava Finley Maddux; and her brothers, Roger Finley and Bill Finley.
Funeral Service will be Friday, March 20, 2026, at 10:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service in Southside with Bro. Tom Doty officiating.
Burial will be in Caney Springs Cemetery in Sage following the service.
A time of visitation will be Friday, March 20, 2026, in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.
