Janice Earlene Carter, 85, of Cord passed away Monday, March 16, 2026.
She was born on January 3, 1941, in Moorefield, Arkansas to James Carter and Ila Finley Carter.
Jan worked at White Rogers for 40 years. She was a simple woman who loved to laugh and joke and enjoyed a good jigsaw puzzle. She was a gifted artist and loved painting and drawing.
Survivors include her nephew, Brooks Marlin of Texas; niece, Shannon Killion (Gary) of Cord; two great-nephews, Blaize and Garner Killion; and one great-niece, Makaya Killion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Carlston, Willis, Douglas, and Roland Carter; and three sisters, Eleanor Carter, Glenda Carter, and Lou Marlin.
