
With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Vincent Lafon Rutledge, beloved son, father, pawpaw, significant other, and friend, at the age of 62.
Vince was a giving, kind-hearted free spirit with a quick wit, big smile, and infectious laugh. He had a passion for fishing, farm work, and spending time with family, friends, and his grandbabies. His generosity, big personality, and humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Vince was born in Memphis, TN, on November 18, 1963, and passed away on March 13, 2026. He is survived by his widow, Michele Gibson; his son Eric Rutledge and wife Ashley; his daughter Emily Rutledge and partner Marissa; his son Justin Rutledge and wife Stephanie; his son Robert Ivy and wife Lilly; his son Bill Ivy and wife Brittiney; his sisters, Cassandra Cannon and Fonda Holland; his brother, Mitch Rutledge; his mother, Virginia Rutledge; and his father, Andy Rutledge.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Rhett, Shelby, Asia, Donavin, Gavin, Cooper, Trey, Nick, Ella, Desie, Kaden, Vincent, Collin, Damian, Jaxon, Raelynn, and Andi, along with many more friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his sons, Jacob and Adam Rutledge, and his brother, Scott Rutledge.
Vince Rutledge’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Foothills Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Brother Joe Cannon and Brother Mike Sisk will officiate the service. The service will be followed immediately by a potluck with friends and family.
