Donnie Ruth Sutton of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away in her home on March 7, 2026. Donnie was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas, on April 29, 1943, to Porter Wesley and Velma Alice Nix. She married Roland Sutton on October 25th, 1958.
Donnie was baptized on June 1st, 1963, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. After that, she devoted her life to serving her God and to teaching others about him.
Donnie was a loving wife and wonderful mother to her 2 children, Connie Lynn, who died in infancy, and Roger Dale.
She is survived by her son, Roger Dale Sutton of Mountain View; 4 Grandchildren, Ryan Sutton of Texas, Lexi Sutton of Texas, Casey Sutton of Texas and Isaac Sutton of Texas; 2 great grandchildren; her sisters Earline (Byrd) McEyla of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Margie (Bill) Rollins of Mountain View, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Porter Wesley and Velma Alice Nix and her siblings, Clara (JW) Sefers, Arvil Nix, Dessie (Warren) Kelly, OV (Lillian) Nix, Geraldine (Harold) Rieathbaum and Fay Lynn Nix.
Donnie will be deeply missed by her family and by her friends in the Mountain View congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
