
Betty Jean (Chupp) Burlison, of Bradford, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the age of 85. She was born on December 11, 1940, in Jackson County, the daughter of William Edward and Ora Pauline (Mardis) Chupp.
Mrs. Burlison enjoyed keeping her mind busy by working puzzles, coloring, and watching television. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.
Mrs. Burlison was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Burlison; a sister, Billie Mardis; a great-grandchild, Zachary; and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Burlison, of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters, Marlene Annis, of Spanaway, Washington and Iris Lemond, of Royse City, Texas; three grandchildren, Alicia Green of Heber Springs, Rebecca Dattilo and husband, Dan, of Cleveland Mississippi, and Anthony Burlison of California; four great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Alexander, Leo, and Jovie; and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Burlison will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home, with Mr. Llano Robinson and Mr. Lynn Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Coffeyville Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Carl Smith, Kenny Mitchell, Johnny Mitchell, Jr., Michael Smith, Sr., Chad Harmon, and Chad Cates.
