Obituary:  Tommy Lynn “Tom” Reynolds

Tommy Lynn “Tom” Reynolds of Swifton, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the age of 72. He was born December 17, 1953, in Newport, Arkansas, the son of Ralph and Lora Mae (Templeton) Reynolds.

Tom was a longtime resident of Swifton and a graduate of Swifton High School. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 20 years before becoming an Inventory Manager at Cavenaugh. Tom had a passion for cars and enjoyed everything related to automobiles, from talking about them to trading them.

He cherished his hometown of Swifton, Arkansas, and had many friends there. Tom possessed a remarkable sense of humor and was famous for telling great jokes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lora Mae (Templeton) Reynolds.

Tom is survived by one son, James Reynolds of Ohio; one daughter, Sarah Wycough and husband, Matthew of Batesville; one brother, Jim Reynolds and wife, Linda of Tupelo, Mississippi; six grandchildren, Andrew Reynolds, Lacey Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds, Rylan Wycough, Mary Katherine Wycough, and Mayson Wycough; his nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.

The Reynolds Family wish to extend a special thank you to Dierksen Hospice, Dr. Max Arroyo, and Dr. Mitchell Keel for their loving care of Tom.

Friends may visit at the Swifton Church of Christ on Friday, April 3, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Swifton Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Keith Gilmore, Jerod Holland, Jerry White, Justin Payton, Tyler Payton, and Ryan Holland.
