Glenda Junkin (Momma, Grams, Gimma) departed this life on April 13, 2026, at the age of 86 years. To know her was to know that she was a force of nature in the best ways. She may have been small, but her personality was larger than life. She had a quick wit that would catch you off guard, and she had a sense of humor that would keep you laughing. If you were lucky enough to know her, you knew there was never a dull moment when she was around. Her laughter was contagious, her stories unforgettable and her hugs seemed to fix everything. Her love for her family was unwavering as they were what she cherished most. She was always there to celebrate the victories, she always stood strong through the storm and, above all, she always showed up. Her love was a love that could not be questioned, and she made sure we knew how much she loved us.
Glenda was born on March 8, 1940, in Trumann, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Charlie Seats and Lucille (Edwards) Seats Bonham. She was a 1958 graduate of Harrisburg High School and then completed cosmetology school. She worked as a cosmetologist for several years before going to work at American Greetings and Acme Frame. She married the love of her life, Bill Junkin, in 1967, and they spent 49 wonderful years together. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for nearly seventy years. She enjoyed being with family, gardening, fishing, and volunteering at the Bread of Life Food Pantry. She also loved to travel and see new places, as she was always ready for an adventure.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Charlie Seats and Lucille Bonham; step-father Ben Bonham, her sister, Pamela Bonham, and the love of her life, Bill ‶Willie″ Junkin.
