Cindi Emery Lowe of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the age of 54. She was born on March 24, 1972, in Newport, the daughter of Alvin “Sox” and Joye (Chism) Emery.
Cindi graduated from Tuckerman High School as a proud member of the Class of 1990. On June 29, 1995, she married the love of her life, Frank, in the boot department at Water’s Store. Fortunately, the butcher was also a Justice of the Peace and was able to officiate the ceremony. Thus began an adventure that would last thirty years, during which they built a life together and raised their three children in Cindi’s hometown of Tuckerman.
After her children were older, Cindi began her college career at Arkansas State University. Always an avid reader and someone who had a deep appreciation for learning, she was proud to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Middle School Education. Later, she worked at the Tuckerman City Library as Librarian, bringing summer learning classes and educational events to the citizens. She worked hard to make the library an integral part of the town.
Cindi had a deep affection for children and was always attentive to the safety and well-being of not just her own kids, but also those of her family, neighbors, and friends. She had no problem scolding any child she saw misbehaving. She was known for her infectious laugh and kind spirit. Cindi was constantly seeking opportunities to compliment and encourage others.
Above all, she cherished her faith and her family. Her husband, children, and grandchildren brought her immense joy and created many cherished memories throughout her life. The pride and love she had for her family was evident through her actions and words every day.
Cindi was a long-time member of the First Free Will Baptist Church at Tuckerman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin “Sox” and Joye Emery; one brother, Mack Emery; and two sisters, Kim Reed and Wendy Harbison.
Cindi is survived by her husband of 30 years, Frank Lowe of the home; two sons, Brett Lowe and girlfriend, Sara, of Newport and Rhett Lowe and girlfriend, Kinzie, of Paragould; one daughter, Adriana Lowe Tubbs and husband, Garrett, of Paragould; three grandchildren, Jemma Lowe, Emery Tubbs, and Eiley Tubbs; special niece and nephew, Amanda Emery and Ryan Emery; her mother-in-love, Marie Keller Beck; her siblings, Roy Emery, Tim Emery, Jamie Emery, Margaret Brumley, Judy Browning, and Anita Emery; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services are at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 29, at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jason Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in Dowell’s Chapel Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Ryan Emery, Coletun Foster, Garrett Tubbs, Gary Wayne Fears, and Roger Dale Beck.
