
Donald Peel of Drasco passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2026.
Born on January 14, 1953, in Drasco, Arkansas, Donald was the son of the late Bernard Peel and Mary DeFoor Peel. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend whose life was marked by hard work, perseverance, and appreciation for the things he loved.
Donald spent much of his life providing for himself and those he loved. He valued simple pleasures and found joy in spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and dancing. Whether sharing stories with family, tending a garden, or enjoying time with friends, Donald appreciated life’s everyday blessings.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Donald Wayne Peel; four brothers, Larry Peel, Nathan Peel, Clifton Peel, and Doug Peel; two sisters, Margaret Smith and Brandy Stevens; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Peel and Mary DeFoor Peel; his twin brother, Donnie Peel; his brothers, J.R. Peel and Jerry Peel; and his sister, Marilyn Peel Wilson.
Donald will be remembered for his enjoyment of the outdoors and the many memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. His memory lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Funeral Service will be Monday, June 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service with Jerry Kerry officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the Triple C. Cemetery, 974 Blue Ridge Drive, Mountain View, Arkansas.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until service time.
