Phillip Dale Morris, 67, passed away on July 23, 2026, at home in Sulphur Rock, AR. He was born on September 23, 1958, in Oxford, Ohio, to the late Thomas Alvin Morris and Imogene Sawyers. Phillip was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was always picking on people and laughing. Above all else, Phillip was a hard worker, a good father, and a good husband. He will be greatly missed by all those blessed to know him.
Phillip is survived by his wife of 49 years, Deborah (Newton) Morris; son, Phillip A. Morris (Kelly); daughter, Deborah Hill; grandchildren, Mason Morris, Paisley Morris, and Ashley Morris; brothers, Thomas Morris, Jimmy Morris, and Charles Morris; and sisters, Audrey Blake, Becky Coffee, Barbara Clair, and Janet Holland. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents; grandparents; parents; and uncle, Jimmy Sawyers.
There will be a visitation held at Willis Funeral Service Chapel on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 11 AM until 1 PM. The funeral service, officiated by Broher Brian Combee, will follow.
