Mrs. Lisa (Tomlinson) Malone of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, August 17, 2026, at the age of 63. She was born March 28, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joe M. Tomlinson and Shirley Jean (Reeves) Norris.
Lisa was a member of the Tuckerman High School Class of 1981, and a member of the Tuckerman Church of Christ. She had worked for the Arkansas Department of Corrections for many years, where she was beloved by her coworkers.
Lisa was known for her kind heart, and loving nature. She had a giving heart, making weekly donations to the food bank to help those less fortunate than she. Lisa had a contagious laugh that could fill a room, and was loved by her friends and family. She felt deeply, and had great love in her heart, especially for her family. Lisa cherished her family, and was incredibly proud of them all, especially her grandchildren, who were the absolute joy of her heart.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Tomlinson; one brother, Randy Tomlinson; her granddaughter, Anna Grace Johnson; her stepfather, Larry Norris; her grandparents, Theodore Inez Reeves and Roy and Bonnie Tomlinson, and her best friend, Jeannie Hutchinson.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 33 years, Benny Malone of Tuckerman; her mother, Shirley Jean (Reeves) Norris of Tuckerman; her children, Deron “D.J.” Johnson and wife, Rebekah of Springdale; one daughter, Brandi Lawson and husband, Telly of Strawberry; one brother, Rickey Joe Tomlinson and wife, Kim of Fort Worth, Texas; her grandchildren, Ian, Elise, Owen, Phoebe, Tucker, Emmett, and one on the way, Jed Benjamin; two nieces, Taylor and Brenna; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Dowell’s Chapel Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Hutchinson, Blake Hutchinson, Ryan Hutchinson, Telly Lawson, D.J. Johnson, Benny Malone, and Rickey Tomlinson.
