Local authorities have given an “all clear” after investigating an alleged threat at a Batesville manufacturing facility Monday morning.
Batesville Police Chief Alan Cockrill told White River Now the rumor of an “active shooter” on the premises of Bad Boy Mowers turned out to be false information.
Officers and deputies from the Batesville Police Department and the Independence County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene, and the facility was locked down while authorities searched the Bad Boy buildings and facilities.
After about an hour, authorities said no active threat was found, and the “all clear” was given.
