Carey Dye, 57, of Tuckerman, departed this life on Sunday, May 25, 2025. He was born on March 24, 1968, in Akron, Ohio, to Carey Hobert and Mary Ann (Confere) Dye.

Carey was a man of many interests and a heart full of passion. He had a deep love for NASCAR, especially cheering on his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt. Whether he was behind a grill, working hard in construction, or relaxing at his computer, Carey found joy in the everyday moments of life, especially with his faithful companion, his dog Bitty.

He had a love for music, often lifting his voice to sing Garth Brooks songs, filling the room with his spirit and energy. He was also an avid reader, always eager to dive into a good book and learn something new.

Carey’s warmth, humor, and easygoing nature made him a joy to be around. He will be remembered for the love he shared, the songs he sang, and the memories he helped create. His presence will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, and his sister-in-law, Lisa Dye and his step-father, Albert Parkhill.

He is survived by his loving partner, Samantha of the home; his mother, Mary Parkhill; his sons; Jacob Dye (Liza Marie Terry) of Colorado, Christopher Tanksley of Tennessee, Zane Sadler (Hailey) of Newport, and Joe Sadler of Newport; daughter, Felicia Dye of Colorado; his brother, Henry Allen Dye of Ohio; his sisters, Kathleen Annette Steinlechner (Roland) of Ohio, Belinda Sue Dye of Ohio, Karen  Michelle Dye (Tom) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Tristan Fourcha, Haylie Brown, Jaxon Raines, and Cillian Sadler, and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
