Mrs. Janice Ann (Williams) Tubbs of Cash, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the age of 63. She was born June 2, 1962, the daughter of Loren E. and Vertie Mae (Jobe) Williams.

Mrs. Tubbs was a graduate of Grubbs High School. She then went on to obtain her certificate in cosmetology. For many years she worked as a talented and dedicated cosmetologist, taking wonderful care of her clients. On August 26, 1983, she married Mr. Rick Tubbs, and together they built a beautiful life for their family. Mrs. Tubbs was a devoted member of Pitts Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing and Sunday School teaching.

Mrs. Tubbs has shown great resilience throughout her life, having survived stage 4 brain cancer for an incredible twenty-seven years. Though the road was never easy, she continued to live fully by celebrating milestones and making memories with her loved ones. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and spending time with friends. She especially loved singing in different groups throughout the years, alongside her brother. Mrs. Tubbs’ favorite shows were Heartland, Walker Texas Ranger, and the Game Show Network. Above all, she adored her family. Her greatest joy came from the moments she spent with those she loved most.

Mrs. Tubbs was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenny Williams and Loren Williams; her sisters, Delores Jones and Loretta Jones; and her parents.

She is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Rick Tubbs, of the home; her daughter, Angie Slagley, and husband, Robby, of Swifton; her son, Hunter Tubbs, and wife, Sydney, of Bono; a brother, Donald Williams, and wife, Linda, of Paragould; four grandchildren, Kaydence, Chailon, Braylon, and Clara; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.

Services for Mrs. Tubbs will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Robby Slagley and Bro. Kendall Felton officiating. Interment will be in Holloway Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Sunday evening, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Hunter Tubbs, Brian Williams, Scotty Williams, Danny Jones, Farrell Jones, and Lane “Lance” Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Tubbs’ nieces and nephews.
