Nancy (Wright) Hutcherson, 78, of Batesville, AR, died on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. She was born on November 16, 1946, in Batesville, AR, to the late Paul F. Wright Jr and Rebecca (Turner) Wright. Nancy was of Christian faith and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Batesville. Nancy was a flight attendant for most of her adult life. She worked for several airlines, but primarily for Delta. She had a great passion for music. Her late husband, Laddie, was a rock and rhythm & blues musician, and music was what brought them together. She also loved animals. All of Nancy’s animals were rescue animals, showing her caring, nurturing, and compassionate heart. Some of her other hobbies include cooking, shopping, and growing plants. Nancy had made a wide variety of friends all over the country. Her family and her friends will all miss her dearly.
Nancy is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Laddie Hutcherson; and her aunt, Susan Verwolf. She is survived by her niece, Norma Perkins, of Batesville, AR; her great-niece, Eden Perkins; her great-nephew, Dace Elumbaugh-Perkins; her cousins, Steve Wright of Little Rock, AR, Anne Langholz (Buddy) of Dallas, TX, and Frank Wright (Mi Ok) of Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, South Korea; and her beloved K-9 companions, Iris, Bucky, and Queenie.
