Cody Lee Downs, 38, of Batesville, died on Friday, June 20, 2025. Cody was born on June 14, 1987, in Van Buren, Arkansas, to Cory Downs and Teressa (Bailey) Downs.
Cody was an owner/operator of his own construction company, and in his spare time, he enjoyed watching his children play sports and spending time with his friends and family. Some of Cody’s hobbies include riding dirt bikes, playing disc golf, and, more recently, rock climbing. He will be dearly missed by everyone who was blessed to know and love him.
Cody is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leroy and Glenda Bailey; his paternal grandfather, Jim Downs; his father, Cory Downs, and his son, Landyn Downs. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Downs; his mother, Teressa Downs; his paternal grandmother, Jalanda Downs; his sons, Cole Downs and Ryder Downs; his daughter, Bailee Downs; his brother, Kyle Downs and his wife Jessie, his nephew, Liam Downs; and many extended family members and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. Services will be announced at a later date.
