Jerry M. Morris, 84, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, September 23, in Batesville. He was born on July 21, 1941, in Newport to Milton and Glendal (Rice) Morris. Mr. Morris served his country in the Army National Guard for twenty years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife and mother of his children, Patricia Lynn Morris, one brother, Harold Morris.
Morris is survived by his wife, Patricia Morris of Newport, two sons, Mark Morris of Newport, Shawn Morris and wife Tammy of Tennessee, two grandchildren, Logan Morris of Newport, Landon Morris of Newport, and three great-grandchildren, Braydon Morris, Kilie Morris, and Dash Morris.
There will be no services at this time.
