Bettie Joyce Emerson Clark, age 70, of Pleasant Plains, passed away peacefully at her home on October 26, 2025.

Born on July 13, 1955, Bettie was the daughter of the late Wilford and Charlene Emerson. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.

Bettie is survived by her husband, Dale Clark; her sons Joshua (Andrea), Jacob (Larissa), and Jesse; and her beloved grandchildren Gabriel, Sean, Claire, Caden, Carys, and Houston. She is also survived by her brothers Roger (Susan), Donnie (Kelly), James (Jamie), Scott (Brenda), and Neil (Barbie), as well as several nieces and nephews.

After dedicating many years to raising her three boys, Bettie found great joy and purpose working at Midland Tiny Tots, where she cared for and nurtured countless babies with warmth and gentleness. Bettie had an extraordinary gift for calming any child and could have them peacefully asleep within minutes. She truly loved babies and treated each one with the same tenderness she showed to her own family.

Her loving husband, Dale, never left her side during the past year as she bravely faced her illness, remaining her steadfast companion and source of strength. His devotion to her never wavered during the 51 years they were married. The family would like to thank the staff at Arkansas Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they provided to Bettie during her final months.

Bettie’s legacy of love, compassion, and quiet strength will continue to live on through her family and all whose lives she touched.
