
John Robert Musser, 69, of Bethesda, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in Searcy. He was born July 5, 1956, in Graham, TX to Robert Samuel and Barbara Lou (Crommett) Musser. He was a retired service manager for Musser Motors Cadillac in Terrell, TX, owner/operator of Grand Central Station in Batesville and member of the Chinquapin Church of Christ, where he served as song director. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, the Dallas Cowboys, and was a very loving, kind friend to all. John adored his family, especially his grandchildren and it was said of him that “he never met a game of checkers he didn’t like”.
He was preceded in death by his mother, one son, Marcus Musser and one brother, Roger Musser.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Musser of the home; two sons, Robert Daniel Musser (Sarah) of Cave City, Richard Emory Musser (Gigliola) of Fort Worth, TX; one daughter, Jessica Windland (Bradley) of Floral; his father, Robert Samuel Musser of Bethesda; one brother, Michael Lynn Musser of Bethesda; three sisters, Dora Gainer of Fort Worth, TX, Ruanne Ellis of Bethesda, Julia Bratcher (Jim) of Millsap, TX; one niece like a daughter, Jennifer Ruanne Thompson of Bethesda; five grandchildren, Marcus Musser, Jackson Musser, Claire Musser, Kaiden Windland, Adaleine Windland, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 1, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Ferris Keller officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
