
A Searcy man has died from injuries sustained after his motorcycle struck a deer on Interstate 57 on Friday, authorities said.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Colin Dougan, 32, was riding a Yamaha motorcycle northbound on I-57 when a deer entered the roadway. Dougan’s motorcycle hit the animal, causing him to crash.
He was taken to Unity Health in Searcy, where he later died from his injuries, troopers said.
