The Batesville Area Arts Council is inviting community members to tap into the holiday spirit with its Bejeweled Christmas Tree Workshop, set for 2 p.m. on Nov. 29 at the BAAC Work/Shop on Main, 246 E. Main St.
Scheduled for Small Business Saturday, the workshop offers participants the chance to create a festive Christmas tree painting decorated with gems, sequins and glitter. Attendees will take home a unique handmade holiday decoration suitable for display or gift-giving.
The event is recommended for ages 13 and up, and all materials are provided. Thanks to support from Main Street Batesville, the registration fee is discounted.
The cost is $15, or $10 for BAAC members.
