Alan Ross Echols of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the age of 71. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 7, 1954, the son of Herman and Hazel (Clay) Echols.
Mr. Echols was the owner and operator of Echols Tile and Marble Company. His hobbies included surfing, collecting coins, and riding his Harley. He was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by one son, Israel Alan Echols; two brothers, Ronald Echols and Todd Echols; and his father, mother, and stepfather, Jerry.
He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Echols Daniel of Florence, Alabama and Charlotte Echols Dishon and husband, Scott, of Muscle Shoals, Arizona; two sisters, Linda Cook and Susan Kennedy of Melbourne, Florida; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog, Spot; and a lifetime of friends.
