Alicia Shylea Wilson, age 50 of Oxley AR was born Thursday April 10, 1975 in Clinton, AR to Jim and Freda Wilson. She went to see Jesus November 22, 2025.

Alicia was a free spirit; she was our hippie chick. She loved all kinds of music, art, painting, drawing and cooking. She loved being outside and spending time with the people she loved. No one loved picking a guitar around a bonfire more than our Sisha.

Alicia graduated Leslie High School as valedictorian in 1993 and she graduated from Arkansas State University Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology. She was the first of any of the grandkids to go to college.

Alicia was many things throughout her life. She worked as a nanny, a barista at a health food counter and she was a biologist. She loved science. But most of importantly she was a beloved daughter, a wonderful sister, a fun-loving aunt and a friend to all who met her. She had the biggest, kindest heart.
She will be missed by all she has left behind, especially her Dad and Momma, Jim and Freda Wilson, her sisters and best friends, Angie Lucy and April Boyd, her nephew and nieces, James Treat, Nicole Treat, Cassie Ward, Zoie Boyd and Aspen Boyd. Also her great nieces and nephews, Sophia Blackwell, Avery Ward, Maverick Ward and Karter Stapleton.

Meeting her at the gates were her grandparents, James and Marian Wilson and Lonnie and Neda Lee as well as a host of aunts and uncles.

Alicia was so loved and will be so missed, this is not goodbye but see ya later Sisharella.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Elberta Cemetery, in Leslie, Arkansas, beginning at 10:00 am. Brother James Ray will officiate the service.

Pallbearers are April Boyd, Angie Lucy, Nicole Treat, James Treat, Cassie Ward, and Tonya Liles.

Honorary Pallbearers are Zoie Boyd, Aspen Boyd, Sophia Blackwell, Avery Ward, Maverick Ward, and Karter Stapleton.
