Erica Guzman, 51, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 1, 2025, at her home in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. Born on July 13, 1974, to Anita and Richard Wagner of Ohio, Erica grew up with her older brother, Evan.
Erica is survived by her son, Zachary, and her brother, Evan. She is also survived by her husband, Carlos Guzman; her two stepsons, Carlos Jr. and Christian; and her stepdaughter, Taylin, all of whom she lovingly cared for as her own.
In recent years, Erica devoted much of her time proudly caring for her hardworking flock of “girls” supplying a steady stream of eggs and was affectionately referred to as Merca. She found joy and peace in nature and was rarely seen without her faithful dog, Winston, by her side. Being outdoors was where she felt most at home.
Erica will be laid to rest beside her parents and grandparents in Ohio, where she will find her final peace after her courageous battle with cancer.
