Vivid colors and memories from an Italian journey are at the center of a new exhibit underway at Gallery 246, where local artist Karen Barker is showcasing her latest pastel, oil, and mixed-media works.
Titled “Reflections of Italy,” the exhibition runs through Jan. 31, 2026. Gallery officials say Barker’s pieces draw on the emotions and experiences she gathered during her travels.
Gallery 246, located at 243 East Main Street in historic downtown Batesville, is a collective that promotes artists from north-central Arkansas. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
