Donna (Bista) McCarty of Horseshoe Bend passed away on December 15, 2025.
She was born in Bellaire, Ohio on August 14, 1932, the daughter of Oscar and Ruth Finkel.
Donna served one year in the U.S. Air Force. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Eagles and Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed traveling the country, boating, and bird watching. Donna was a member of the United Methodist Church in Horseshoe Bend.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane (Gint) Bobinas, Nancy (Craig) Osmond, Linda Loud, Debra (Charlie) Akers; one son, Fred (Colleen) Bista III, eleven grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Fred W. Bista, Jr., her second husband, Don McCarty; daughter, Susan Esmail, and her sister, Marquette Sovich.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
