
Teresa Loggains, 71, of Cave City, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, in Cave City. She was born on November 21, 1954, in Cave City to Leon and Frankie (Hudson) Crow. Teresa began working at what is now Lyon College early in her 20s and became a long-standing employee, where she moved up in status and became the Administration Coordinator, where she served until her retirement with 47 years of distinguished service. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Cave City. Teresa enjoyed riding horses, being around animals, and cooking. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Marliegh.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years, Gary Loggains; her nephew, Richard Andrew Kirk; and her brother-in-law, Kevin Lane McDougal.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica McDougal; her brother, Wayne Elmer Crow; her sisters, Carolyn Kirk (Richard) and Brenda McDougal; her niece, Rhonda Sharp; her nephew, Dylan Kirk; her favorite dog, Marliegh; along with other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers are Jim Hoggard, Dave Herringer, Tony Anderson, Legacy Hospice, Dr. J. Jeffery, MD, Dr. Seth Barns, MD and Dr. K. Raman Desikan, MD.
Memorial services will be on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Roger Hook officiating.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials/donations may be made to the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at 4018 W. Capital Ave. Little Rock, AR 72205.
