Obituary: Violet June (Fuller) Hobbs

Violet June (Fuller) Hobbs of Vilonia, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born May 24, 1943, in Princeton, Kentucky, the daughter of Albert Perry and Mary Elizabeth (Humble) Fuller.

Mrs. Hobbs was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and watching westerns. She married Mr. Edward Dwayne Hobbs on January 29, 1988, and together they shared almost thirty-eight years of marriage. Mrs. Hobbs loved wearing her jewelry. She was of the Pentecostal belief.

Most of all, Mrs. Hobbs loved her family and friends and cherished spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred “Millie” McLeod, Alice Lena Fuller, and Lily Pearl Thompson; and her parents.

Mrs. Hobbs is survived by her husband, Edward Dwayne Hobbs of Vilonia; five sons, Eric Croomer of Evansville, Indiana, Matthew Croomer of Evansville, Indiana, Jerry Tidwell and wife, Misty, of West Point, Danny Tidwell of Damacus, and Chris Tidwell of Vilonia; one daughter, Tina Croomer of Evansville, Indiana; one brother, James Franklin Fuller of Evansville, Indiana; one sister, Patricia Faye Herrera of Chama, Colorado; many grandchildren and a lifetime of friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Jackson’s Funeral Home.
