Richard Wayne Owen, Sr. left us too soon on Sunday, January 25, 2026, in Batesville, at the age of 65. He was born on January 6, 1961, in Boston, Massachusetts, to James Owen and Bessie King Owen. He was a retired Mason and did masonry work.
Richard was a most passionate man who loved spending time with his family. He was free-spirited, gentle, and kind-hearted. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially driving around in the snow. His passions would be working in the masonry industry and fishing. Richard was one who enjoyed helping others when he had the opportunity.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Aaron (Jenny) Owen, of Batesville;
