Billy Ray Fuller of Locust Grove, Arkansas, died on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the age of 92. He was born on November 15, 1933, in Greenbrier Bottoms, AR, to the late Arthur Fuller and Edith Lorene (Magness) Fuller. Billy was of the Christian faith and worshiped the Lord as a member at Batesville Seventh-day Adventist Church. Billy served his country honorably during the Korean War in the United States Army. Some of Billy’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, and gardening; he loved making a big garden and sharing the bounty! Billy was also an expert candy maker, earning him the nickname “Candyman.” He also enjoyed spending time ministering to the men at John 3:16 Ministries, and they were always happy to see the Candyman coming, both for the candy, and the loving support. But out of all his hobbies and passions, nothing meant more to Billy than his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be dearly missed by everyone who was blessed to know and love him.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents; his 3 brothers, J.C. Fuller, Edward Fuller, and Richard Fuller; and his daughter, Cynthia Jewel Finster. He is survived by his loving wife of an amazing 70 years, Maxine (Lewis) Fuller; his 3 sons, Billy Ray Fuller Jr. (Billie Renee), Jefferey Lee Fuller (Tina), and Brian “Cotton” Eric Fuller; his daughter, Joy Lorraine Leffers (Jan); his sister, Linda Pearl Smith (James); 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
