James Paul Crowe
Community members in Salem will gather this week to remember a local high school student following his death earlier this month.
A glowstick vigil for James Paul Crowe, 18, of Salem, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Salem High School baseball field. Organizers say participants are invited to bring glowsticks to place around the field in his memory.
Crowe, a student at Salem High School, died March 8.
Memorial services are also planned for Saturday at Salem First Baptist Church. A memorial visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a memorial service beginning at 6 p.m.
A memorial account has been established at Bank of Salem for Richard and Brittany Crowe, Crowe’s parents. Donations may be made at any Bank of Salem branch or mailed to Bank of Salem, P.O. Box 338, Salem, AR 72576.
