Melissa Dawn Magno, 45, of Batesville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. She was born July 21, 1980, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, to Huey and Pam Mealer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Melissa enjoyed shopping, going to yard sales and spending time with her beloved family and friends. Melissa was a woman of God. Her laugh was so contagious and you could hear it from afar. Melissa was a loving wife and an amazing and nurturing mother. She loved taking pictures of everything she thought was beautiful. She found the beauty in everything. She was as bright as the sun and brought light everywhere she went.

She was preceded in death by her father and her father-in-law, Felipe Magno.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, David Magno; her daughters, Lexi Taylor (Austin), Gaberiella Magno, and Shania Pineda (Cristian); her brother, Jody Mealer; her sisters, Renee Mealer and Delinda Croney (Chester); and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Gary Ragland officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Austin Taylor, Cristian Pineda, Eric Martinez, Carlos Cordova, Elias Cordova and Jesus Cordova.

Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Homes.
