The Independence County Library is partnering with Jacksonport State Park to host a hands-on program where participants can build their own squirrel feeders. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 18, at 12:00 p.m. at the Independence County Library.
This fun and educational activity invites community members to learn about local wildlife while creating a squirrel feeder they can take home and enjoy. All materials and supplies will be provided, making it easy for participants of all ages to take part in the project.
Library staff and representatives from Jacksonport State Park will guide participants through the building process and share information about squirrels and their role in the local ecosystem.
