Hallie Shoffner, Candidate for Congress to be Special Guest at the Fulton Co. Democrats Monthly Meeting
The Fulton County Democratic Party will meet on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the Hickinbotham-Miller Exhibit Building at the Fulton County Fairgrounds, 124 Arena Lane, Salem, Arkansas. A brunch will be served at 9:30 a.m., followed by the short business meeting at 10:00 a.m. RSVP is not required but is suggested so the committee can plan for food. Shoffner is a 6th-generation farmer from Jackson County. She is running for U.S. Senate, and her campaign slogan is “For Families – For Arkansas – For You.” Shoffner says, “I am not a politician, and not much for political parties and I have never run for office before.” Her platform is giving Arkansas farmers room to breathe and not give tax cuts to the land barons. fighting for Medicare and saving Social Security and will focus on bringing costs down for regular people, so that hard work can mean a good life again.
The Fulton County Democrats will continue their Holiday Food Drive for the local food pantries. Those attending can bring a non-perishable food item if they desire.
