The Jackson County Community Choir is celebrating America’s 250th birthday a little early. The Choir will present a Patriotic concert on Sunday, March 29th, at 3:00 p.m.
The concert will be held in Newport on Front Street in the Jane Parnell Performing Arts Hall. The program features a salute to the military as well as a reflective piece about Arlington Cemetery. Traditional songs are featured on the program as well.
The choir is directed by Andrea Steward and accompanied by Jeannie Whitener.
The concert is free and the public is invited to attend. There will be a reception afterwards.
