Batesville Pioneers’ 2019 season wraps up Friday night with a 49-14 loss against the undefeated Harrison Goblins

The Batesville Pioneers saw their 2019 season come to an end with a 49-14 loss to the undefeated Harrison Goblins in the first round of the 5A playoffs.
Harrison got on the board first and the Pioneers responded with a six-yard touchdown pass from Eli Livingston to Karson Douglas.  After Alejandro Medina’s extra point, the score was tied at 7-7 with 7:09 in the first quarter.
From that point, it was all Harrison as they scored 28 unanswered to round out the first half and lead 35-7 at the half.
Harrison would get two scores in the third quarter to go up 49-7.
Cullen Hill scored on an 11-yard touchdown run for the Pioneers in the fourth, and the Medina extra point set the final score.
The Pioneers end their season with a record of 4-7.
