Janie Crum, 89, of Newport passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020, in Newport. She was born on October 14, 1930, in Cole Camp, Mo., the daughter of Robert Archie Irby and Lilly Mae Crenshaw.
Janie was a member of the Church of God was a song leader, enjoyed cooking, and taking care of people.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dan Crum, daughter; Ginger Carol Combs, and sister; Patricia Rose Templeton.
She is survived by her son; Mitchell Crum of Newport, brother; Basil Eugene Irby (Jo) of MT. Home, grandson; Ty Hunter of Conway.
Graveside service will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020, at Coffeyville Cemetery with Vance Penn officiating.
There will be no visitation.
