A Cedar Ridge senior recently ended her high school career in cross country racing with back-to-back state championships.

The Timberwolves’ Kate Provence crossed the finish line with a time of 20:15:02 to take the Class 2A championship for a second time at the state cross country meet held Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Oaklawn Park infield in Hot Springs.

Provence will move on this weekend to Rogers to participate in the Arkansas/Oklahoma All-Star Cross Country meet. The event will include the winners from all classifications in both states.
