Stone County man charged with sexual assault

A Stone County man has been charged in circuit court with a felony and a misdemeanor involving a minor under the age of 14.

According to authorities, a woman informed Stone County Sheriff’s Deputies that James B. Hanna, 59, of Highway 14, in Mountain View allegedly furnished a minor with alcohol and touched the child inappropriately.

As a result, Hanna has been charged with sexual assault in the second degree and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Hanna’s bond was set at $25,000. He was also placed under a “no contact” order.
